#1 Reality TV Inspirations
For baby girls, reality TV stars are hot, hot, hot. Thanks to Khloé Kardashian, the name Khloe jumped from #960 to #196 in just two short years. The Hills star Audrina Patridge also made her mark. In one year, Audrina leaped from #707 to #353. (Oddly enough, both women were the subjects of their own spin-off series.) America's Next Top Model former winner Jaslene Gonzalez's first name sashayed more than 200 spots in a single year.
#2 Like Father, Like Son, Like Mother
It's a long-standing tradition: sons are often named after their fathers. Among the celeb juniors are Jennifer Hudson's son, David Daniel Otunga, and Kendra Wilkinson's son, Hank Randall Baskett IV.
Another newly minted celebrity tradition? Moms are also nabbing their husband's last names. Kendra Wilkinson, Heidi Klum, and Sarah Michelle Gellar are among the moms who legally changed their last names to match their husbands', becoming Kendra Baskett, Heidi Samuel, and Sarah Michelle Prinze.
#3 The L Word
When it comes to their little ladies, parents are in love with the letter L. Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva named their daughter Lucia, and so did reality couple Amber and Rob Mariano. Carnie Wilson named her daughter Luciana. Heidi Klum and Seal debuted daughter, Lou. Maya Rudolph and Paul Thomas Anderson named their daughter Lucille. Actress Judy Reyes welcomed Leila Rey and Lisa Loeb is mother to Lyla Rose.
