The name Art definitely has an old-fashioned vibe to it–which makes sense given that it's the short form of Arthur, which most certainly is "vintage." The name had it's heyday in the 1960s and has since fallen out of favor. Perhaps if your baby boy has an extreme love of teddy bears it would be a fitting name, as the Celtic meaning translates to something along the lines of "keeper of bears."
