Icarus
- Greek: In Greek mythology, he was the son of the inventor Daedalus, and both were imprisioned by King Minos. In an attempt to escape, his father created wings of feathers and wax, but warned his son not to fly too high or the wings would melt. Lost in the joy of flight, Icarus forgot his father''s warning. The sea where he died is named for him.
