Arethusa
- Greek: In mythology, Arethusa was pursued by the river god Alpheus, who had fallen in love with her. Rather than give in to him, she begged Artemis to save her, which she did by turning her into a spring. Not to be defeated, Alpheus turned himself to water and united with her.
