Bathing Baby: A Guide to Getting Your Little One Clean

Bathing in Tubs and Sinks

Some parents find a sink easier for bathing a baby than the tub. Use a towel or large sponge on the bottom of the sink or tub to prevent the baby from slipping from your grasp.

Never place your baby under running water. The temperature can change quickly and burn your infant. Check your water heater to make sure that the temperature is set at no more than 120 degrees F or 50 degrees C.

Wash the baby's face and eyes before putting your little one in the bath to prevent eye infections. Also, never leave your child alone in the sink or tub.

And lastly, relax and enjoy this special time with your little one.
