Immunizations and Your Child: The Lowdown on Vaccines
Be sure to ask your pediatrician about the flu vaccine, in addition to the standard required immunizations. Since 2004, most pediatricians recommend influenza immunization for all children six months to 23 months of age. You can also ask your doctor about combination vaccines. In some instances your child’s immunizations can be bundled together, meaning she will see fewer needles—a fact that will no doubt bring smiles to many children’s faces.
