The Safe Home Office
Have a home office, Mama? Consider these safety measures having to do with items specifically found in the home office, as noted in the book The Safe Baby: A Do-It-Yourself Guide to Home Safety and Healthy Living.
The same houseplants found elsewhere in the house might be found here, too. Nothing new there. In addition to household cleaners found in other rooms, however, there is an array of other poisonous substances unique to the home office, such as special cleaners, toners, correction fluids, inks (including markers), and rubber cement. The solution is twofold: keep such supplies in a locked cabinet and always put items away in that cabinet after every use.
