Bonding Like Beckham

We always love a doting "new-dad" story, and soccer superstar David Beckham doesn't disappoint when describing his first close encounters with daughter Harper.

Victoria Beckham (aka Posh Spice) is breastfeeding Harper, the latest addition to the Beckham clan, and according to Papa Becks, "It's so important that they have that mother-daughter bond and breastfeeding, I think, is really an incredible thing," he tells People magazine.

But he's also happy that he now gets to share in feeding time, too, via expressed breast milk. "We're in the process of putting it in bottles now, so that means I get to feed her—which has been amazing."

Team Effort

What do brothers Brooklyn Joseph, 12, Romeo James, 8 1/2, and Cruz David, 6 1/2, think of baby sister Harper Seven? According to Beckham, all are excited to welcome a new sibling and are doing their share to help out, something Victoria and David wouldn't have any other way.

"It's just the way [Victoria and I] were brought up as kids; it's the way we are bringing our kids up," he says. "We make sure that the most important thing to us is our family and we're all grounded. No matter what goes on around us, no matter what situation it is, we come together as a family..."

Sounds like winning team!
