My son is ten months old and I am currently six weeks pregnant with another child. I am continuing to breastfeed my son, and wish to do so even after the new baby arrives (giving the newborn first dibs of course!).
Lately when I feed my son, my nipples and breasts are so sore that I feel like I'm learning to breastfeed all over again. Any ideas on how to help ease the pain of my sensitive breasts during pregnancy?

This is called "tandem nursing" and there's a lot of information about it, as well as nipple care on the Internet and in bookstores. In my opinion, the best resource is La Leche League International. Their politics are strong and they're somewhat militant about mandatory nursing, but their medical information is the best.
