Is there a way to try to increase the odds of having a boy or a girl during conception?

There are many old wives tales about how to guarantee a boy or a girl but the simple truth is that there is no such thing. The only way to possibly select the sex of the baby is by separating the male and female sperm, then to have the selected sperm artificially inseminated.

This procedure is not foolproof.
