Q&A: What are my chances of conceiving the first month I try?

by Dr. Gerard M. DiLeo

My husband and I have just started trying to conceive our second child. Our first child just turned 18 months. We got pregnant with him on the first month. What are the chances that it will be the same time frame (give or take a few months) to get pregnant the second time around? I am 35 years old.

It might take a little longer this time around, but only because of your age. The best telling factor is that your were pretty close to your present age when you had no trouble last time. You should do fine.
