Q&A: Does Clomid cause nausea?

I'm taking Clomid and I've experienced a great deal of nausea. Is this a side effect?

Yes, probably. Clomid works by stimulating estrogen in your system, so it's not unlike the "morning sickness" of early gestation. Let your health care provider know, but it's probably a sign that the Clomid is doing what it's supposed to do— stimulating ovulation.
