After a visit to my doctor in January, I went off birth control pills to try and conceive again. It is now March and there is no sign of my period. After taking a pregnancy test that came back negative. I am wondering if this is normal. How can I conceive if I haven't had a period in two months?

The first period after coming off the pill can be weird—heavy, light, late, or early. You may not revert back to normal for a few cycles. The only warning is if you don't have period after three months (assuming you're not pregnant). That should be reported to your doctor.
Conditions such as a stubborn ovarian cyst or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome can cause this—both are treatable. Thyroid conditions, medications such as antidepressants, and extreme exercise or dieting can also present in this way. You need a pow-wow with your doctor.
