Pros:

  • Assuming you're reading them correctly, tests are 98 percent accurate.
  • You can actually see your cycle progress through the changing patterns in your saliva; you’ll learn to recognize the patterns for "infertile," "almost there," and "fertile" so you are alerted that ovulation is approaching days beforehand.
Cons:
  • Depending on your eyesight, results may be difficult to read.
  • Anyone can make a mistake, so unless you’re a scientist, you may read the results incorrectly.
