There are three obstacles here:
- PCOS. Your healthcare provider will probably prescribe Metformin to alter your insulin resistance and help you ovulate. He or she may also put you on Clomid to enhance ovulation itself.
- Finding a reproductive endocrinologist (RE) who will allow you to use the services to establish a single-parent pregnancy. The same RE could take care of both of these problems.
- Your age. Infertility is much more problematic after age 35 in that you will less frequently have a good egg produced to conceive with, so it may take longer, which is a factor already of concern.
