WAHMThe top of the uterus. The fundus rises during pregnancy as the baby grows. The obstetrician will measure the fundal height as a measure of how much your baby is growing. Toward the end of pregnancy the fundal height may decrease slightly or stop growing as the baby settles into the pelvis preparatory to labor and delivery.
