Relaxin

Relaxin is a hormone produced during pregnancy which causes the joints and ligaments to soften and stretch. This occurs in preparation for the pelvic bones needing to expand during labor and delivery. Relaxin is also responsible for many pregnancy body changes, such as an increase in foot size.
