Making Cranberry Muffins for Thanksgiving Breakfast
When Grandma's in town, there's baking to be done! We made low sugar, high flavor muffins just in time for Turkey Day. And we did it together.
Anyone who knows me in person, or on Foodlets, the blog I write about cooking for kids, knows I make more muffins than anyone. I’m a muffin making machine. But they’re not just muffins. These are good-for-you, easy-to-freeze, super muffins. Always trying to cram as much nutrition AND flavor into every make-ahead breakfast, I’m liberal with the whole oats, wheat germ, flaxseed, fresh fruit and honey. So just in time for Turkey Day, I made a fresh batch of low sugar cranberry oat muffins with my two helpers, and it went just like this.
