8 Fun Finger (and Foot!) Painting Projects

Butterfly

The butterfly is a perennial favorite. In this case, the thumbs are painted brown for the body, and four colors are painted on the palm and fingers. With thumb splayed and placed centrally as the body, the other fingers are held together to fashion the wings. then we simply inverted the page and realigned the body to make the lower wings.

By now you've discovered that even the youngest children can produce works of art and will have fun doing so. The question, if you can stop the giggles long enough to frame it, is who has more fun, them or you?
