Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have one dance down pat—the baby dance! Baby dust (gold, we're sure) is showering down on this Hollywood couple as they prepare for baby number three.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are adding to their brood, according to the actress's confirmation that yes, indeed, the couple are expecting a third child. Is baby number three a surprise? Hardly. "She's always wanted three kids," a source tells Us Weekly. "This was her plan all along."
No word yet on what big sisters 5-year-old Violet and 2-year-old Seraphina think of the arrival soon of a new sibling. But one thing is for sure, Mama Garner knows what it takes—and what not to stress about—when it comes to staying sane as a busy mom and busy actress.
"You have to have a great nanny and you have to have a supportive husband," Garner tells Us. "We figure it out day by day. It's always messy and it's never as glamorous as people think it is, but we get through, and as long as the kids are happy, it's all good."
Do Garner and Affleck sound like perfect parents? They might just be when it comes to birth spacing. We couldn't help but notice the two- and three-year intervals between pregnancies. Has Jen been reading up on birth spacing medical studies? Many experts advise waiting until your current baby is 2; others say 3 is better before becoming pregnant again. According to studies, spacing pregnancies by at least three months (from the time of your first child's birth) and no more than five years can reduce the risk of low birth weight and preterm babies.
So double congrats, Jen and Ben, on your impending arrival—and your perfect timing!
