In the Baby Zone with Rosie Pope
And baby makes six! Pregnancy guru Rosie Pope shares her mommy wisdom and describes how pregnancy is different the fourth time around.
After giving birth to three kids in the past five years, it’s safe to say that Pregnant in Heels star Rosie Pope knows a thing or two about pregnancy and motherhood. The entrepreneur and mom to J.R. (born 2008), Wellington (born 2011) and Vivienne (born 2012) says her fourth pregnancy has been anything but relaxing. “It’s not like that first pregnancy full of naps, pedicures and ice cream!” But not even pregnancy can slow down this busy mom–she recently worked with Belly Bandit to create an organic belly band, and she’s continuing to expand her maternity collection with the March 2014 launch of Rosie Pope Baby.

What’s your golden rule of pregnancy?
Only eat what you would be okay feeding your children. I find the temptation to eat junk in pregnancy is very strong, but you are also nourishing your growing little one, so you have to ask yourself if you are okay with them consuming the food too.
What’s been your best moment of pregnancy so far?
Telling my other kids that we’re expecting again. They have been asking for another brother or sister for a while and it was so cute to see them so excited.
And the worst?
Throwing up in a crowded train car! Yep, super classy!
What’s the best advice you ever got about pregnancy?
Try and enjoy the changes you are going through because they are necessary for your baby’s healthy growth (hello, new curves!).
What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
Cuddles with my kids. They love climbing into our bed for movie night.
Finish this sentence: You know you’re in the Baby Zone when…
Your baby vomits in your mouth and it hardly fazes you! I’m sorry, I know this is gross, but it just happened the other night with my youngest.
