It's a good thing that Tori Spelling looks cute in maternity clothes…
The Scoop
Only one month after giving birth to daughter Hattie, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott ended up back on the expectant parents list when Tori discovered that—surprise!—she is pregnant with the couple's fourth child.
"All my friends keep asking me [if it was planned] and I'm like, 'Seriously? Hattie was 1-month-old," says the Home Sweet Hollywood star (via Us Weekly). "Do you think it was planned?' I was up all night with feedings."
According to Tori, her new pregnancy is a happy accident brought on by the couple's impatience to resume a normal sex life after the birth of daughter Hattie. "The doctor said, 'Wait six weeks [to have sex],' and [my husband] Dean was like, 'They tell everyone that.' We didn't wait that long with Stella or Liam," she reveals. "I was like, 'Well, I don't want him to think that the sex is going downhill,' so now we're on baby No. 4."
Your Health
Breastfeeding and new-mom hormones are often touted as nature's way of preventing pregnancy, but as lots of moms with kids very close in age can tell you, there is probably more myth than fact to this claim. If you are eager to resume your pre-baby sex life, but don't want to chance getting pregnant again so soon, you and your partner will have to consider something you have probably not thought about in months: birth control.
As for Tori? She is due in September and couldn't be happier to have another baby on the way. What surprised her the most may be the lack of surprise her two older children, Liam, 5, and Stella, 3, showed when she broke the news.
"It was as if we had said, 'Oh we got milk today. We brought home milk today and put it in the fridge and you can go help yourself to a glass,'" says Tori.
So we'll say it: Congratulations, Tori and family!
