Q&A: When can I try to conceive after Nuvaring?

by Dr. Gerard M. DiLeo

My last cycle was 34 days and I beleve it to be back to normal after Nuvaring. So would now be a good time to to consider trying to conceive? My periods were very regular and conceived my first 2 childern with no problem. Now that it's been three months since nuvaring and I had a 34-day cycle, is it a good time to go ahead and try?

If your cycles are stabilizing into a fairly consistent rhythm, then yes, it's a good time to start to try. Regular periods usually mean regular, normal ovulations with which to conceive.
