Tips for the First-Time Mom

You never want to leave your baby crying even if you feel like you can't take it an more it's the best thing for your baby to be happy but at the same time you don't want to give your baby to much.
Pam the best advice I received when I was pregnant came from Joan River's book, "Having a Baby Can Be a Scream".It's great. Joan Crawford's, "Mommy Dearest" has some good advice also.
Hang in there with breastfeeding. No one ever prepared me for initial pain that would ensue. Tea bags can be your best friend. On that note, breastfeeding was a wonderful experience for me after the first week, so glad that I stuck it out. You will find there are two schools of thought on this, some love it and some hate it. Do what is right for YOU, not anyone else! BTW - the second time around is much easier
WHEN THE BABY SLEEPS, IT IS BEST FOR YOU TO GET SOME REST TOO. THIS WAY YOU WILL NOT FEEL TIRED OR IMPATIENT. BEING A FIRST TIME MOM IS A TRYING PERIOD IN YOUR LIFE. NEW MOMS BE ALL THE MOM YOU CAN BE.
I'm a first time mom and had a lot of difficulties while pregnant. My baby stopped forming because of my progesterone. The tip I would suggest is have support. I was alone in the process(my family lived far away). You need someone to help you! Unlike me, lost! Find a friend! And take tons of pictures.
