I have two tattoos. One I got when I was 18 that is a blue heart that says Daddy's Girl. The second tattoo I got this summer for my sone. It is the scorpio sign with a trident on the end instead of a hook. His name is Triton and he was born in November. I plan on getting a tattoo for each of my girls at some point.

I plan on getting a tattoo of two foot prints (one of them is my sons and the other my daughters from when they were born) with the saying "it was then i carried you" going around it as a memory of my grandmother who passed while I was pregnant with my son (her first great grandson).

i got my first tattoo after both my children. I got a butterfly with their initials on either side on my lower back. then i got a butterfly with a flower on my left ankle.

I'm now working on getting a tattoo on my foot. Then another on left shoulder.

i choose butterflies because they are so free flying and come in all different colors.

Plus butterflies to me represent, a new beginning, a chance of going where you want, & free spirits. And with both my children it was a new beginning, a chance of going different places ,and whole lot of free spirits. then when i got married to my love of 10 years, it was another new beginning and new places to visit. (physically & mentally). My butterfly tattoos are my way of saying i'm living my life to the fullest and i'm happy with my life and where it is going.

i will continue to get butterfly tattos. the only tat i will have that wont be a butterfly is the one i get on my shoulder in a few years. (its gonna cost) it's of an angel and it's in dedication to my grandmother who is my gaurdian angel and she showed me and taught me what i know today and she's always there when i need her. Im lucky to have her here with me still and i'll be lucky to have her with me when she's gone too.
