I cant say that we havent had rough times but the fact of the matter is were still here...together! we been married for over a year now but have loved eachother since the 8th grade. we have a 3 month old son, he was so excited to have a baby and i know that he loves us with all of his heart, and right now he is staying home with him. i am a US MARINE and i work 24-48 hr shifts. its a great feeling to know my son is at home with daddy safe and sound. i know he is well taken care of. My hubby but up with so much crap when i was prego and still til this day. Im sure he thinks i expect a lot out of him but i love him with all my heart and even when i come home and nothing is done...at least i have a smiling baby. He is my rock. I love him. I dont know what i would do without you baby. Your my world.

I feel very lucky to have my husband. I am a teacher and my husband is a personal chef. He put his career on hold so that he could stay home with our 1 year old son, Ben. He makes all of Ben's food, plays and takes care of him during the day, while at the same time juggling a few clients a week. I feel very lucky to have such a kind and dedicated husband that my son will one day look up to so much!

My husband and I have been together for nearly 17 years. We had our daughter six years ago, and our son came a year ago. I don't think I could have loved my husband more when I saw how excited he was with each pregnancy, and how much he loves his children. His life revolves around making his children's lives better than his own, and he continues to grow as a man and a human being each day.

I never thought that he would be capable of caring for children full time, but for two summers in a row, he has cared for our children and my kids love being home with him! My children have a huge bond with their dad, and since I didn't have much of a father when I was growing up, it makes my heart happy to see what a great father he is. I believe that my children will have a good father to turn to in the future as they themselves grow into adolescents and adults.

My story is a little harder to tell because we get told we are wrong and are bad parents for what we do. My husband and I have been married for almost three years and married young. He helped deliver our daughter, Sarai, on the side of the road. He took care of me when I broke my hand before she was born. He did ALL of the changing, cooking, and house chores the first months. We are currently both deployed in Iraq but before we left, her first word was "dada." There's not a day that goes by when he's not on the Internet or on the phone to talk to his baby girl. We'll both miss her first birthday but we had each other for Mother's Day and Father's Day as well. He was there when I would cry myself to sleep because I left her and I missed her so much. He's what has kept me together. I love him so much! Thank you Babe, for eveything.

I have the greatest husband because as he is someone who grew up with no father, he is the complete opposite of that. He is caring, loving, helpful, strong, smart, and more importantly always there for our sone and me. He takes care of us. He is such an amazing dad; from day one, in the hospital, he stood by me and was so strong and helped me with the baby. He always helped with night feedings and changings and when the baby wasn't feeling well, he was there when he was a newborn and I was tired from the hospital. He is the love of my life and the greatest father to our son, Gabriel. Thank you for being our rock; you work so hard. He works six days and about 60 hours a week between both jobs. Thank you again for being so amazing and wonderful and such a hard worker for our family to move ahead. Happy Father's Day to Mike Shaw, great father, husband, son, and best friend. We love you.
