10 Celebrities Who Refuse to Circumcise
After the big royal birth, the whole world is wondering if Prince George will be circumcised (or maybe we're the only ones contemplating the royal scepter). Princess Diana refused the operation for Prince William and Prince Harry, and rumor has it that today's royal couple will follow suit. Here are some other famous faces who say no to circumcision.

While interviewing Dr. Lisa Masterson on his talk show, the host questioned her advocacy of the practice. “Couldn’t you achieve the same effect by washing your pee-pee on a regular basis?”

The What to Expect When You’re Expecting star shared in an interview that she was surprised when a vivid description of circumcision had to be cut out of the film in order to maintain a PG-13 rating. “You have to clamp on the foreskin, pull it over, and then slice it off. That is apparently really uncomfortable for people to hear. But I think it is important to know.”

He’s equally well-known for his sexual escapades as he is for his acting, and Russell Brand was happy to share his thoughts on the practice in a 2013 interview with Howard Stern. “We don’t do it in England. It’s a bit unfair, isn’t it, to do that to babies?”

In a sit-down with Playboy, the uncircumcised actor shared his strong thoughts on the subject. “People say, “It’s much cleaner to have no foreskin.” What, have you never heard of a f***ing shower? Of Q-Tips? Whatever you want to do it, just clean the f***ing thing.”

The radio show host condemned the practice as early as 1998 in one of his broadcasts. “Most men want their sons to look like themselves. So this keeps going. It is so barbaric…if I had a son, I would never allow him to be circumcised. Never!” He urged parents to stop the practice and called for circumcised men to take up class action suits against their doctors.

A frenzy of Twitter posts in 2011 revealed that this New Zealand native and father of two boys is adamantly against circumcision. “Circumcision is barbaric and stupid. Who are you to correct nature? Is it real that GOD requires a donation of foreskin? Babies are perfect.”

The lead magician of the famous Penn & Teller duo had spoken numerous times on his decision to keep his son intact. “The rate of transmission of sexually transmitted diseases does not mean you can cut part of the body off an infant,” he shared in response to a study on the risk of herpes and HIV in Africa.
