BabyZone's staff screens submissions based on photo quality, composition, and creativity of image. Up to 12 images will be displayed weekly, and the baby, toddler, preschooler, and child receiving the most votes each week will be selected to compete against other weekly winners for the monthly grand prize of having a "cover shot" in BabyZone's national newsletter and on the home page of BabyZone during the subsequent month. The photo will also be included on the past Baby Winners, Toddler Winners and Preschool Winners pages. All finalists go on to a year-end finale, and each winner of the finale will receive a $100 prize.
1. Entries for the baby contest must be no older than one year. Entries for the toddler contest must be 13 months to three years of age, entries for the preschooler contest must be three to five years old, and entries for the child contest should be between five and eight years of age.
2. Upload your child's photo to our server via our website. Please keep images close to 80K in file size.
3. The parent or guardian of the child in the photo must be the person submitting the photo/JPEG. Please note that BabyZone employees, consultants, and their families are not eligible to submit a photo for this contest.
4. Entries must be scanned and sent in JPEG format only.
5. Only one image per contestant will be considered; however, you can submit a photo of your child for the following months as long as it is a different image than what was previously entered.
6. The monthly winners will automatically be entered in annual contest. We will notify winners by email.
7. The winner may be featured on BabyZone's home page for the duration of the following month and will also be the "cover kid" in one or more of BabyZone's newsletters. Winners of the year-end finale will receive a $100 prize.
8. All winning photos become the property of BabyZone, Inc., and as such may not be published elsewhere (including but not limited to other Internet websites and print publications) without the express written consent of BabyZone, Inc. Use of winning photos without the express written consent of BabyZone, Inc., will result in immediate forfeiture of prizes and disqualification from the annual contest.
