Q&A: Could it be too early to test for pregnancy?

by Marie O'Sullivan, RN

I have not had a menstraul cycle since January 9th - 14th. My pregnancy test are coming up negative. Could it still be too early to test?

A home test should have come up positive by now. To be absolutely sure, contact your OB to schedule a blood pregnancy test. Also, remember many things can cause your period to be late especially stress.
