Q&A: Does vaginal discharge mean I'm pregnant?

I am having yellow discharge and am wondering if this could indicate a pregnancy? I have taken several tests that say I am not pregnant but I am going out of my mind worrying.

Home pregnancy tests are quite good at detecting a pregnancy. If you have done a test several times and the results were negative, you can say with a high degree of certainty that you are not pregnant.

Vaginal discharge is usually a normal consequence of changes in a woman's hormone status that occurs as a result of egg development and ovulation. Occasionally, discharge can be due to an imbalance between the bacteria and yeast that normally occupy the vagina. At other times, it could be the result of an infection. You should make an appointment to see your gynecologist for an exam.
