I am 22 weeks pregnant with a "heart-shaped" uterus, and I am concerned about my baby's movement. He kicks and elbows me all of the time, but he hasn't turned at all. He's still in the same position as day one (breech). I've even had five ultrasounds! My doctor doesn't seem to be concerned, but I still am. Will my baby's muscle development be OK? Will that dip in the middle of my uterus keep him from turning when it comes delivery time? I'm worried.

It all depends on whether that dip in your uterus represents a septum or how deep it goes. A septum can throw quite a road block, which might interfere with your baby assuming a headfirst position. On the other hand, if it's just a gentle dip, it probably will become continuous with the contour of your uterus as your baby grows. It certainly justifies more ultrasounds, though.
With good prenatal care, even though you might end up with a C-section for a breech, you're probably going to have a great baby. If your baby is moving around, and it sounds like he or she is, don't worry about the types of movementādevelopment should be normal.
