Q&A: When will my husband feel fetal movement?

by Dr. Gerard M. DiLeo

I was wondering when my husband will be able to feel our unborn baby move.

You'll most likely start to feel your baby wiggle around 13 to 16 weeks. First-time moms may take longer to feel baby's first movements, according to the American Pregnancy Association (APA). Your husband won't be able to feel these first movements until a few weeks later—probably about two to four weeks after you do.
