I am 12 weeks and two days pregnant with my first baby. I had some spotting at four and five weeks that my doctor said was from a low progesterone. I started taking supplements and the spotting stopped. I only have one day of progesterone left and this evening I noticed a mucousy, pink-tinged discharge. It is a small amount and very light in color. Could this just be normal or should I be concerned about this? Am I past the point of worrying about a miscarriage?

Progesterone production is usally taken over by the pregnancy at about ten weeks, so you've taken as much progesterone as you probably need if you're truly 12 weeks into your pregnancy. The supplemental progesterone is only needed until that time. The bleeding is probably unrelated, but you're never out of miscarriage territory, so let your doctor know about the spotting. An ultrasound should be reassuring.
