Q&A: How much Tylenol is too much?

I have been having at least one sinus headache a day for a little over a week. If it is not to bad I try to get over it without taking Tylenol, but I'm wondering how much Tylenol is to much to take in one day?

The nonpregnant limits are about the same as the pregnant limits, since the concern is your liver. Tylenol toxicity is a concern with over 4,000 mg./day--about the equivalent of 8 extra strength Tylenols, less if you've had hepatitis or a drinking history.
