I have a transverse lie at 35 weeks, and the baby won't move with exercises my midwife has recommended. Your thoughts?

A transverse lie at 35 weeks is very, very abnormal and an immediate danger. With a transverse lie, the unborn baby stays in a horizontal position instead of lying head down, ready for delivery. There is a possibility that the baby will turn spontaneously, but this isn't the time to leave these things to chance. If you don't have an obstetrician involved in your care, see one immediately. (There's a big difference between transverse and "oblique," which is normal.) But if the baby's truly transverse, run to your doctor.
