How does a yeast infection and its cure affect my baby or my pregnancy?

Probaby not at all, but the opposite is not true; pregnancy tends to make yeast infections more likely.
Diflucan (Fluconazole) is not indicated in the first trimester, but the statistics are only a concern if you took more than 400 mg. per day. The usual dose is 150 mg.
Most importantly, you need to make sure it isn't bacterial vaginosis you have, in which case you'll be taking yeast medication for nothing. The creams are harsh, especially on swollen pregnant vaginal tissue and you don't want to use that if it's not necessary.
