Q&A: Could I be pregnant and not have tender breasts?

I am not due for another week or so but I think I am pregnant. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant and I have been nauseated for the past week. I have read the symptoms of early pregnancy and I have all of them except for tender breasts. Could I be pregnant and not have tender breasts?

A study I performed in my own office in women who have come in for their first pregnancy test found that the most common symptom of early pregnancy is the feeling that your period is about to start. The symptoms of breast tenderness and nausea come weeks later. Not all women get these symptoms so there is no need to worry if you don't have them.
