Q&A: Is lack of morning sickness a bad sign?

by Dr. Gerard M. DiLeo

I am pregnant again after having had a miscarriage in October. With that pregnancy I hardly had any morning sickness, but with my first pregnancy with my daughter I had severe morning sickness. I am worried because with this pregnancy I only have slight queasiness now and then, but my breasts are always tender. I am afraid that my hormone levels may not be high enough and that's why I am not having the morning sickness. I am so afraid I will miscarry again! Is it possible to have a healthy pregnancy without morning sickness? I am nine weeks pregnant now, and they estimate that I miscarried at nine to ten weeks last time.

Yes, you can have a perfectly normal pregnancy without all of the famous symptoms.
