20 Maternity Workwear Essentials
As I'm gearing up to go back to work as a teacher in a couple weeks, I've been on a desperate search for stylish maternity work clothes. I do have a few go-to's that I saved from my first pregnancy; however, that was from four years ago. Since then my style has changed along with fashion trends and I feel like I'm starting from scratch. And since there is a wider variety of maternity work attire available online than in stores, I've been scouring the internet to find key pieces to add to my closet of mostly maternity t-shirts. Check out some maternity workwear essentials I've come across. I ended up purchasing quite a few of these looks as the new school year begins, and bonus is that they aren't that expensive as this is my last pregnancy and I had a budget I wanted to stick to.

I’m a huge fan of open cardigans for maternity wear. They show off your growing baby bump and will work through your whole pregnancy. Have a couple belts on hand is great to accessorize any maternity outfit. You can use them to belt your already existed dresses that can work for maternity wear, or even add embellishments to tunics. I especially love this set of two, available from Target for $14, because the holes are throughout and can grow with you as your bump grows.
Maternity Short Sleeve Tunic
In my mind, you can never have too many tunics to mix and match with bottoms. I especially dig this one because of the tie embellishment in the front to make it stand out from others. As well, the short sleeve option is great to layer a cardigan over, or wear by itself when your pregnant body warms up. This one also comes in wine, and is available from Motherhood Maternity for $26.98.
