Nine carriers were included in this recall; "Joshua" image here represents just one.
According to the US Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), Beco Baby Carrier Inc., of Newport Beach, California, is voluntarily recalling approximately 2,000 of its Butterfly Carriers. Eight consumers have reported that the carrier's straps slip through the shoulder buckles. While no injuries have been reported, if a carrier shoulder strap unexpectedly releases tension, the strap can possibly slip through, posing a fall hazard to the baby.
