The Better to See You With
Trust us; the right lighting in your nursery is important. At some point those 3 AM feedings will have you feeling like a zombie or Mombie. When you shuffle into your baby's room you'll need to be able to see so you don't trip or bump into things. Make sure your nursery has at least one overhead light and if possible install a dimmer switch to vary the strength of the light. If you decide to use a nightlight, make sure it's in a socket out of Baby's reach.
Absolute no-no: Floor lamps with long trailing cords. They just beg to be knocked, pulled, or tripped over. Safety hazard! Do us a favor and leave them in the guest room. Baby's smile alone is almost enough to light up the room!
