September 3, 2008: Circo Children’s Bobbie Socks Recall

The ribbon on the sock poses a choking hazard

by BabyZone Editors

Recall Reason

According to the US Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), Circo is voluntarily recalling approximately 330,000 of its Rosette Bobbie Socks. Four consumers have reported that the decorative ribbon on the sock has detached. While no injuries have been reported, if a child swallows or partially ingests the ribbon, this may pose a choking hazard.
