December 30, 2013: Joovy Recalls Zoom Car Seat Adapters
What’s the Deal?
Joovy has determined that their Zoom Car Seat Adapters pose a fall hazard, since the adapter clips can loosen while on stroller frames. The company has received nine reports of loose adapters, but no injuries have been reported.

The recall involves car seat adapter models 00945 for Graco, 00946 for Chicco and 00947 for Peg Perego frames. The model numbers and “Joovy” can be found on the label at the center of the end bar of the adapter. The product is made of gray metal with black plastic clips designed to attach infant car seats to stroller frames.
These adapaters were sold at independent specialty juvenile retailers and online at Joovy.com between May 2012 and August 2013 for about $25.
