- 2 cans chickpeas (garbanzo beans) rinsed and drained (or try white, black, soy, or kidney beans)
- 2-4 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
- 2 cloves garlic
- juice of half a lemon
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and puree until smooth.
For variations, add in ½ seeded tomato and puree with above. Or add in ½ roasted bell pepper.
