Mom-Tested: Top Strollers Over $350

2008's best luxury strollers for families

Dreaming about a high-end pram? We tested a bunch of heftier-priced strollers to see what the fuss was all about. We found strollers that do what they do so well, we think they are worth the splurge. Because of their versatility, some high-priced products were actually affordable in the end. Of course, others were just plain decadent—but don't we all need a little decadence sometimes?

Inglesina

Mid-size stroller

Best for: Walking moms seeking a little Euro flair

Our mom testers said: "When I'm with my husband, I have to pry it away for a chance to push!"

Why it's a top pick: Sturdy and stylish, the Zippy is a mid-weight European stroller that's incredibly versatile, accommodating both a basinet and a car seat. The handlebars work for parents of varying heights, and the one-handed fold makes it easy to open and close with Baby in tow. The instructions are a little challenging (mostly graphics), and the cup holder is small by US standards. Overall, though, the Zippy is a great everyday stroller that is maneuverable and hearty, yet compact.

Suggested retail price: Zippy stroller: $359, Bassinet: $219
